  1. January - Farmington meeting

2.  March 18th - Dolores Public Library.  Ann will demonstrate Fireworks, a weaving software program that works on both PC and Mac computers.  Bring a sack lunch.

3.  May 20th- Basket weaving.

4.  July 15, 2023.  Our annual picnic will be at San Juan Lavender Farms.  We’ll weave a mini-want or lavender basket.  Bring a sack lunch.

5.  September 17, 2023.    Learn to sew a small bag with your handwoven fabric.

Special Interest Groups

  1. Wild Woolly Women of the West Spinning Guild.  They meet once a month on the last Saturday of the month at different locations.  Everyone is welcome.   You can find information at their blogsite:  http://wildandwoollywomen.blogspot.com/.
  2. Cortez Area Fiber Artists. This group meets on the third Sat. of the even numbered months from 9:00 to 1:00.  They meet in different locations and everyone brings a project to work on.  Fiber artists from Cortez, Mancos, Dolores, Yellow Jacket and elsewhere in the Cortez area are welcome.
  3. The New Mexico Fiber Group meets on the third Thursday of each month in Aztec.  This also includes Bloomfield, Farmington, Kirtland and surrounding areas.  Anyone interested in spinning, weaving and fiber arts in general is welcome.  Bring a project to work on.

      5.  Cricket Club

 Interested in learning more about rigid heddle weaving? The Cricket                   Club meets at Dancing Hooves Farm and Studio on the 2nd Friday of the month. Whether you know how to weave or not, you are invited to come. Bring your Cricket rigid heddle loom or other rigid heddle loom and join the club! If you do not have a loom you are welcome as well. We will be learning how to do different things on our looms and work on group projects as well as our own projects. We will be meeting from 1-4 on the 2nd Friday of the month. Guild Sponsored Events

At this time there are no Guild sponsored special events.  We will be sponsoring a workshop in 2020.  The Intermountain Weavers Conference will be held in Durango 2019 so we encourage you to sign up for one of their workshops.
